A high pressure system is situated over the Tasman Sea and is producing northwesterly winds that are pushing a mass of hot air from the centre of the continent across our region. A trough is also moving across the ACT and is producing isolated shower activity. Fine and cooler weather is forecast for the next few days in the wake of the change.
